The courses given by Vanya have been extremely helpful for me to re-activate my knowledge in Immunology and to link it with Oncology especially regarding Immune-Checkpoint Inhibitor therapy. The courses are prepared in a way that makes them easy to follow - structure, learning goals etc. Further, Vanya's English is perfect, and he is able to explain complicated topics in a comprehensible as well as entertaining way which makes it easy to follow his courses. I attended Oncology for Non-Oncologists more than 4 years ago in biometrics. It was a 3-day training session by Vanya Loroch. Back then I was a statistical programmer focused only on data and programming. It turned out to be a very valuable investment and gave me the start I needed to actually do meaningful work. I came away with a decent understanding of Apoptosis, Cell division, ATP, other cell mechanisms and we reviewed the Hallmarks of Cancer. After the course, I went on to confidently deepen my knowledge with RNAseq data among other biological data. Vanya is a great communicator, with a fantastic sense of humour. His greatest asset is his ability to make a complicated topic very accessible. I would highly recommend his courses.

Before attending this two courses, I had a very basic knowledge of biology and oncology field. Given the content of these two courses in very tangible examples, I have a great improvement in my collaboration with oncologists. I find it easier to understand oncologists' requests and to provide my solutions in a more fruitful way. The course was intense and to gain the most out of it, one needs to participate with full attention as it was very interactive.

Vanya is a great teacher. He is able to present the complex topic of oncology to outsiders in a very approachable and intuitive way. For me it was great to connect some "island" knowledge I already had and solidify my understanding.

I enjoyed this training and learned a lot. I particularly appreciated the dynamic of the course, with a lot of concrete/personal examples, some open discussions interspersed by exercises. The material and support provide during training were very good.

This was an excellent course and I highly enjoyed the few days with the trainer and other participants. The trainer (Vanya) was excellent. He combined the theory and examples so clearly that it put everything into perspective, even if you do not have a medical/science background. He has a huge breadth of knowledge and also the ability to pass on the knowledge/learnings to the course participants.

To be part of the business you need to understand the business. This is why it's important for non-scientists in Research & Development to have a basic scientific knowledge to create common zones of know-how. The three day training from atoms to T-DM1 can be exhausting but the knowledge earned is worth the efforts. Vanya transmits his knowledge very tailored to the audience and uses easy-to-remember exemplary analogies to convey complex mechanism.

I have joined a couple of courses designed and held by Vanya. I really enjoyed the participation. The duration of the courses was exactly to the point. The content was very well organized and presented so that I could learn a lot. All the training materials were made available online and to a reasonable extent also in print. As a result, I could deepen my understanding about drug development, oncology, genetics, molecular biology, PCR and many other topics. I still go back to my training material from time to time to recap some learnings.

I can only recommend Vanya's courses - they are informative and educational, brilliantly delivered and fun! I never felt lost (although I had little background knowledge) and always engaged in the super interesting content. I look forward to taking more courses with Vanya!

I really enjoyed the course provided by Loroch. The content was well structured and organized. It was informative within a short time and helpful to have a overview of the related topics.

I took two of Vanya's courses and enjoyed both very much! Vanya understands it to break down complex topics into easily digestible pieces. Even as a non-biologists I managed to understand at first very complicated looking oncology concepts. This has greatly facilitated the understanding of the mechanism of actions of molecules whose trials data I analyze on a daily basis. I would definitely take another course offered by him!

This was an excellent course and really helped to understand the nature of oncology.It was easy to understand and clear examples to help understand and comprehend.Loroch is a funny, intelligent and has an easy manner that made taking course interesting and fun.

The session (Oncology for non oncologists) was really well done: informative but broken down to a digestible level. Topics were personalized specifically for our group. It provided so much valuable information which I still remember today (although the course was many years ago). Vanya is a very smart and excellent lector and makes it fun to learn.
