Progress in oncology, over the last 100 years, has been phenomenal and yet utterly disappointing. Can better understanding of cancer biology shared by all help?

We have made amazing progress in treating cancer, but cancer incidence is rising dramatically.
No one understands why.
Cancer research has reached astronomical proportions, with hundreds of articles published every day.
No one can make sense of it all.
Maybe we should learn to understand cancer better, in a different way
through education, unbiased communication and research testimonials

“The best way to learn something is to have to teach it”

In 2014, I was asked by a business manager from one of the top 10 pharma companies to build and deliver a 2 day course in oncology, aimed at all non-oncologists, to get everyone in the same page.

In 2024, the start-up I co-created embarked on a super exciting research project on drug delivery in immuno-oncology.

How can cancer research and cancer education benefit each other most?
Answering this question is what Learning to understand cancer is all about.
